Verify your first Linux VPS login

Find the IP, SSH port, account and host key fingerprint in your provisioning information. Obtain the fingerprint through support if it is missing. Keep console access available.
Connect with ssh -p PORT USER@IP using your assigned values. Compare the displayed host fingerprint before accepting it. Stop and contact support on a mismatch.
Verify the hostname and accessible disk with hostname and df -h. Test a second login before closing the first session or changing authentication. If locked out, use the provider console or open a support ticket.
